| How do I purchase residential, guest, oversized vehicle, or temporary solid waste containers parking permits? |
|---|
Online at losalamitos.getapermit.netIf a resident, landlord, or business owner is unable to access the Internet, please call us at 562-431-3538 for additional options. |
The City is transitioning to an online permitting system to streamline the permitting process, improve accessibility for residents and businesses, reduce paper-based inefficiencies, and enhance overall customer service through a more modern and user-friendly digital platform.
Starting July 1, residents who have oversized vehicles or ongoing projects that require temporary waste containers will need to apply for the appropriate permits through the online system.
Los Alamitos residents living in designated permit parking zones will have until September 1, 2025, to apply for parking permits through a new online system. After that date, parking regulations will be enforced. All previous permits will be invalid, and permits must now be renewed annually. Proof of residency and vehicle registration is required.
