The Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department offers seasonal day camp programs. The Department offers a February Camp, Spring Camp, Summer Camp, Fall Camp, and Winter Camp for youth ages 5-12 in the community.
Regular Care: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Extended Care: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm *Late fee for pick-up is $1 per minute after 4:05 pm/6:05 pm based on staff's clock.
Refund / Transfer Policy:
Transfer requests must be submitted 5 business days in advance of attendance date. Requests will be accepted for review but are not guaranteed. If approved, a fee of ($10 per transfer, per child) is applicable per request. No Refunds.
Fall Day Camp online registration may be completed using our Registration Portal or in-person at the Los Alamitos Community Center, during regular business hours.
The location of the camp is to be determined due to potential construction.

Winter Camp will take place Tuesday-Friday for 2 weeks. Regular hours and extended hours are available for registration. Regular hours are from 9am-4pm and extended hours are from 7am-6pm. Campers will create new crafts and participate in games and activities. Campers are required to bring their own lunch. A medical form is required for each camper.
February Camp to be held February 19 through February 23. February Camp provides a safe and fun place for youth ages 5 to 12 during the President's Day break. Staff have prepared games, activities, art projects and much more to keep the kids busy and entertained.
