Gary Loe

Gary, a lifelong resident of Los Alamitos, has deep roots in the community. He attended Hopkinson Elementary (Raiders) and Oak Middle School (Trojans) and graduated from Los Alamitos High School (Griffins).  Alongside his wife, Marie, he raised four children who also proudly attended the same schools within the Los Alamitos Unified School District.

His educational background is in Finance, earning a bachelor’s degree from CSUDH (Toros) and an MBA from Pepperdine University (Waves).

Professionally, Gary works in financial services and brings 30 years of leadership, integrity, and strategic thinking to both his career and community service.

For over 17 years, he served on the Los Alamitos Planning Commission, contributing his time and expertise to help shape thoughtful development in the city. An active volunteer and coach, Gary remains committed to fostering a strong, connected community.

He is passionate about preserving the values that make Los Alamitos a special place to live, learn, and thrive. His focus remains on enhancing recreation, supporting education, promoting public safety, and delivering high-quality city services.
