Municipal Code Violations
The Los Alamitos Code Enforcement Division responds to complaints of violations of the Los Alamitos Municipal Code, which includes substandard buildings, property maintenance, inoperative vehicles, weed abatement, and land use violations. To report a violation, please call the Code Enforcement Division at (562) 431-3538, ext. 304.

Report an Abandoned Vehicle
To report an abandoned vehicle, please call the 24-hour non-emergency line (562) 594-7232. Have a vehicle description ready to give to dispatchers (make, model, color, license plate number or VIN, approximately how long the vehicle has been at the location, address, or cross streets).
