Los Alamitos, CA – The City of Los Alamitos has approved Canning Hunger, a non-profit hunger relief organization, to conduct the painting of curb addresses throughout Los Alamitos. The service will be performed at no cost to residents; however, a voluntary donation of $30 will be accepted to help feed families in need. All donations are completely tax deductible and much appreciated. Painted on each curb will include the City logo and corresponding street address number as illustrated below. Once work is completed, a Canning Hunger representative will stop by to check for quality and accuracy and offer the donation receipt to those who wish to help.
Every Canning Hunger worker will have the following:
1. A copy of the encroachment permit
2. Personal I.D badge
3. An orange and white Canning Hunger T-shirt
Work will begin the week of February 26 in various parts of the City, weather permitting.
