The eldest of two children, Trisha Murphy grew up in Diamond Bar, CA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton in 1997. She worked in diversified Asset Management with a focus in Real Estate for over 20 years while continuing endeavors in marketing, law and community engagement. Trisha recently retired from asset management and launched a small business called Fickle Bliss LLC which specializes in college admission essay writing services. She has plans to expand her small business into other creative avenues that have motivated her innovative thought and intellectual curiosity for the future.
In December 2018, Trisha was appointed as a member on the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission and was reappointed as the Vice Chair of the Commission in January 2022. She was a Member of the School Site Council at Hopkinson Elementary and Oak Middle School and a Representative of the Los Alamitos Unified School District Human Relations Task Force. Additionally, she contributed to the establishment of professional and effective programs and services designed to support the Safety and Student Services for the Los Alamitos Unified School District. Trisha is a certified Bartender, a Notary Public and Notary Loan Signing Agent, a U-Jam Cardio Fitness Instructor and was previously an AYSO referee.
Trisha has been a resident of Los Alamitos for over 6 years and with her husband, Damien, is raising three children, Reign, Damien II and Taylor. Reign is currently a Sophomore at Dartmouth College “GO BIG GREEN” and her twins, Damien II and Taylor currently attend Oak Middle School. Like their older sister, they aspire to attend an Ivy League and with Los Alamitos Unified School District’s exemplary achievement in academics, Trisha is confident that their aspirations will be accomplished.
Trisha believes that Los Alamitos is a thriving city full of amazing people that contribute to making the community truly extraordinary.
