The Los Alamitos Code Enforcement Division responds to complaints of violations of the Los Alamitos Municipal Code that includes substandard buildings, property maintenance, inoperative vehicles, weed abatement and land use violations. To report an abandoned vehicle, please call the 24-hour non emergency line (562)594-7232. Have a vehicle description ready to give to dispatchers (make, model, color, license plate number or VIN, approximately how long the vehicle has been at the location, address or cross streets).
