Community Center & Picnic Shelters
The Recreation and Community Services Department has a variety of facilities to meet your needs. Whether it's a birthday party at the park or reception in the Community Center, the staff can help you celebrate your special occasion. The Community Center also has equipment and linens available to rent at an additional cost. Please contact our staff with any questions and availability for your next special event.
The Community Center and Picnic Shelters are available most days of the year excluding certain holidays. If you are interested in a reservation please contact us to get started. Our staff can check availability of our facilities for your next special occasion.
There are 2 types of rental applications. One is for the Los Alamitos Community Center and the other is for the picnic shelters at Little Cottonwood Park.
All facility rentals require liability insurance whether it is from a private insurance carrier or through the city.
Decorations attached to walls are not allowed as this can lead to damage of the building.
Groups cannot tape any decorations to the picnic shelter. Please use the provided hooks to hang decoration.
Participants can have alcohol at an event once all safety requirements are met. Events will need additional insurance and security on site.
Rentals are not confirmed until all fees are paid by due date. Rentals with outstanding balances will not be allowed on site.
